Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (June 7, 2019) – Grand Velas Resorts in Mexico are now enhancing their spa menus with new innovative treatments that tap into the beneficial effects of the country’s national dish, mole. Besides being a delicious Mexican sauce, mole is also an excellent body treatment rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
The 80-minute treatment at Grand Velas Los Cabos
starts with a body exfoliation from natural ingredients like peanuts, almonds and sesame seeds, traditionally used in mole recipes, to prep the body. Then, a masque of mole and cocoa is applied to the body before finishing with a hair treatment that will increase the shine and natural silkiness of one’s hair.
Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit
’s Mole Mexicano Massage is an exfoliating massage and facial using traditional ingredients such as walnuts, almonds, sesame seeds and, of course, the mix and intensity of different chiles. Spa guests will be invited to make their own scrub in a traditional metate or mealing stone. Endorphins will be released improving mood, dead cells will be eliminated, the skin hydrated and hair follicles on the scalp stimulated.
Grand Velas Riviera Maya
has added a mole scrub to its Mani-Pedi. Dehydrated Pasilla Chile, toasted sesame seeds, peeled almonds, Hazelnuts, Peanuts, Raisins, cloves, chocolate, and grape seed oil are and milled to make the scrub.
